Delivering on the promise

Posted by D under family

Ok, I’ve been teasing for long enough now. K2 and cousins Ben and Nico are keeping the girls entertained and I used the time to process a few pictures and now I’ll post them.

Oh, and a quick update: the night was much better – not great, yet, but much better. They were awake for about an hour or so but other than that they slept well! Yeah! Let’s hope that’s the beginning of normality…

But now for the pictures…

First a couple of group photos taken on a forest road just a few minutes walking distance from H1’s house.

H1, S2, K2, H2, Nico (wow, that sounds like advanced Chemestry)H1, Nico, H2, Ben, K2, S2

What they do in the left one is called “Engelchen, Engelchen flieg!” (angel, angel fly!).

You can see there that their cousin Nico is big already! Which the next picture will prove even more, I guess.

Nico carrying cousin S2Nico, Ben, H2 and S2 (showing some attitude)And clearly all of them know a lot about looking cool. I just love the body language S2 is displaying here. And no adult was involved in staging this – that’s how they lined up on their own in order for me to take a picture.

And finally another group shot, this time with Manfred (and H2 even allowed him to carry her). And the girls at the Playmobil Fun Park, enjoying the water play area.

S2, Papa, Ben, Nico, Manfred, H2 on yet another walkH2 and S2 enjoying a waterfall

I have so many more pictures, but just not the time to post them. And oh btw, I started writing this during nap and now it is hours past bed time, only that H2 wasn’t into sleeping tonight. She fell asleep in the car again but woke up during the transfer to bed. And then even another hour of driving around didn’t help. She sat with us till almost 11pm and just a few minutes ago finally went down…

Think sleepy thoughts

Love the expression on the girls’ faces standing under the waterfall. They look so much alike in this picture. Looks like you are having fun…..

Goodness all those kids are soo cute.

I am dreading travel with the girls (up to CT was hard enough) but when we do finally get passports and go to Ireland…I don’t know…dreading the jet lag.

Sounds like you are having a wonderful trip…enjoy your time with your fam….J

So glad to see pictures! The jet lag just means you should stay an extra week to help with the transition. ;)

Goodie, photos. The girls look great (all three!) and the boys look positively German. I hear that giant glasses of ornately decorated ice cream make for good nap food.
