Home Alone VI – Day 4

Posted by D under family

Very uneventful day. Why? Well, we woke up way too early (5:30am plus/minus 5 minutes for the two of them) – but that’s no longer news worthy, I guess. We had an uneventful morning / drop-off at school. I picked them up, we went grocery shopping (my big helpers each got candy from the nice young man at the check-out).

Back home we played for a little while and then I dropped them off at parents-night-out. Not the usual one at their school, but a different one at the local community center. The movie tonight is one of their favorites. Bolt.

I hope I don’t have to amend this post when I pick them up in three hours, but I think this day will be in fact mostly uneventful.

And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Sounds like Papa has had some nice time with the girls. Our girls love Bolt too. :-) Well, you are gonna be one tired papa if they’ve been waking up at 5:30am, huh? You’ll get back in the sleep schedule when K2 gets back. But it sounds like you all have been having some fun. :-) Our girls love to help at the grocery store too. They like bagging our produce/fruit and I think it makes them want to eat what they have helped to pick out/buy. Our 8 yr old loves to help the bag gals/guys bag and most of them know us at our store and will let the girls put things in the bags. Sounds like your gaming system is fun. And I’m with you if someone says pick up at 9, I’d be there about 8:58, too.
